Il teatro degli eventi dal Friuli esplode in un \u201caltrove\u201d spesso straniante come sa esserlo la vita.\u00a0 \u00a0ANGELO FLORAMO<\/h4>\n<h4>In un arco di tempo che va dal 1909 al 1945, i destini di quattro sorelle si intrecciano alla Storia. La prima guerra, i misfatti del fascismo, la persecuzione di sloveni ed ebrei e l\u2019occupazione nazista permeano le loro esistenze come ineluttabili fatalit\u00e0, spesso difficili da accettare.<br \/>\nAccanto ad avvenimenti terribili e tragici, l\u2019epoca che fa da cornice al romanzo offre, per\u00f2, possibilit\u00e0 fino a quel momento inimmaginabili, soprattutto alle donne.
