L\u2019atmosfera densa e greve di nebbia, fumo, fetore e tensione, dei vicoli e dei sotterranei di una possibile Londra di fine Ottocento.<\/strong>
\nIl tentativo di un immigrato italiano di trovare un equilibrio nel mondo marcio che gli piomba addosso attraverso l\u2019unico lavoro che gli \u00e8 stato offerto: lo \u201csweeper\u201d, ovvero chi si sbarazza delle prove di un crimine violento.<\/strong>
\nUn romanzo tagliente, che concilia generi diversi e tradizioni narrative lontane continenti.<\/strong><\/p>\n
